This is my largest floral painting to date. I wanted to go all out and embrace the challenge of such an intricate display of color and leaves and petals. Each of these flowers (dahlias, mint, daisies, strawflowers, cosmos and others) were grown in our garden. There is something very satisfying in cultivating such beauty around the home.
