There is a low lying pasture not to far from my home that I have always wanted to capture. It has taken me many visits over the years to this spot to finally figure out how to paint a composition that tells the story appropriately. I love the way hard work cultivates beauty in a landscape. It is not always the untouched land that has beauty, but the places that are worn by many years of loving care, the pathways made by the cattle.
